Governor Daniels has signed the vote center bill into law and it goes into effect immediately (and it is actually retroactive, so that the pilot counties of Cass, Tippecanoe, and Wayne can continue to utilize their vote centers). News outlets across the state are reporting that some counties - including Vigo County (Foulkes, Terre Haute Tribune-Star) and Howard County (de la Bastide, Kokomo Tribune) - are already considering the concept of vote centers now that SB 32 is close to becoming law.
The Indiana County Clerk's Association has produced a video on vote centers. You may view the presentation by clicking above on the play button.
